SILICA SUPPORTED HETEROPOLY ACİDS AS SELECTİVE CATALYSTS FOR C6-C8-OLEFİNS DİMERİZATİON
The results of oligomerization of C6-olefins and octene-1 in the presence of some 12-Heteropoly acids (HPA) are given. By modifying the studied HPA or supporting them on the surface of some carriers one can increase their efficiency. The comparison of activity of free and supported HPA was carried out. It is shown that the activity and selectivity of HPA depend on their nature. By the method of IR spectroscopy the essential role of Brönsted acidic centers in oligomerization process has been established
