ALKYLATION OF 4-METHYLPHENOL BY 2-PROPANOL IN THE PRESENCE OF MODIFIED COBALTE-FERRIT CATALYST
Investigation of the reaction of alkylation of 4-methylphenol by propanol-2 in the presence of cobalt-ferrite catalyst modified with manganese was carried out. It was found that the main product of the reaction is 2-isopropyl-4-methylphenol. In found conditions the output of product for the reacted and used 4-methylphenol makes up 87.5 and 30.6% respectively.
