THERMODYNAMIC INVESTIGATION OF Cu8GeS6 COMPOUND BY EMF METHOD WITH SOLID ELECTROLYTE

The Cu8GeS6 compound has been investigated by EMF measurements of the concentration chain (–) Cu (solid) | Cu4RbCl3I2 (solid) | Cu8GeS6  (solid)  (+) in 295–390 K temperature interval. It was obtained that pointed compound has a polymorphic transformation at 328 K. The partial and integral thermodynamic functions of both crystalline modifications of Cu8GeS6 as well as heat and entropy of its polymorphic transformation are calculated based on EMF measurements.
