SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC DEFINITION OF MOLIBDENUM WITH 2-HYDROXY-5-BROMTHIOPHENOL IN THE PRESENCE OF GUANIDINE AND ITS DERIVATIVES
By the spectrophotometric method there have determined the optimum conditions of molybdenum complex formation with 2-hydroxy-5-bromthiophenol (HBTF) in the presence and absence of hydrophobic amines (Am) – guanidine (Gu), diphenyl guanidine (DFG) and triphenylguanidine (TFG). The optimum conditions have been found for extraction of the complexes. It is found that the homogeneous complex is formed at pH 6.8–7.8 (e = 2.6·104, l = 500 nm), and ternary complexes at pH 4.5–5.6 [e = (2.7–3.2)·104, l = 540–550 nm]. All complexes are readily soluble in non-polar organic solvents.
