Azerbaijan Chemistry Journal is the largest and most authoritative scientific publication on Chemistry in Azerbaijan. The journal publishes the articles devoted to actual problems of chemistry and chemical technology, investigations in the field of inorganic and physical chemistry, organic and petroleum chemical synthesis, kinetics and catalysis, design and optimization of chemical process and also the articles about contemporary problems of ecology, etc.

The journal has been published since 1959. The first editor-in-chief of Azerbaijan Chemistry Journal was the famous azerbaijanian scientist Y. G. Mamedaliyev. From 1961 up to 1975 the editor-in-chief of Azerbaijan Chemistry Journal was an outstanding scientist, chemist-technologist with the world name, an academician M.F.Nagiev. From 1975 up to 2011 the editor-in-chief was the well-known azerbaijanian scientist, academician T. N. Shakhtakhtinsky. From 2011 to present the editor-in-chief of Azerbaijan Chemistry Journal is the Director of the Institute of Chemical Problems, prominent Azerbaijan scientist, recognized specialist in the fields of chemical technology academician A. M. Aliyev.
The journal is published 4 times a year, the publication taxes are free. The articles in this journal are printed in Azerbaijan, Russian and English languages. The editorial board accepts the works never been published before, questions having concrete result (experimental, theoretic, observing-analytical, et c.) should be discussed in the articles.
