SYNTHESIS OF VINYL ESTERS OF SOME AROMATIC CARBOXYLIC ACIDS FROM VINYL ACETATE
In this work by the reaction of derivatives of benzoic acid containing substituents in the aromatic ring with vinyl acetate in the presence2-chloro-4,6-dimethoxy-1,3,5-triazine (CDMT) vinyl esters of aromatic carboxylic acids have been synthesized. The influence of the nature of the initial compounds, temperature, zinc trifluoromethyl-sulfonate (Zn(OTf)2), dilithium 3,3′-diphenylbinaphtholate (3,3′-Ph2BINOL-2Li), tertiary potassium butylate (KOtrBu), butyllithium (BuLi) on the yield of synthesized compounds was investigated. The structure of the synthesized vinyl esters was proved by IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR spectroscopies.
