In this article, a new polyampholyte containing amino and sulpho groups has been obtained by assuring the sulphocation-exchanger resin obtained on the basis of polyvinyl chloride with the participation of polyethylenpoliamine. It has been found that the amination reaction order of sulphocation-exchanger resin obtained on the basis of polyvinyl chloride was equal to 1,1 and the activation energy was 70 kJ/mol. The analyses of scanning electron microphotography (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray (EDS) and IR spectra of the obtained polyampholytes were studied. The kinetics and isotherms of absorption of non-ferrous metal ions by polyampholyte have also been investigated. In order to understand the nature of sorption, various thermodynamic parameters were calculated, such as isobaric-isothermal potential (ΔG), enthalpy (ΔH) and entropy (ΔS). The results show that the new polyampholyte containing amino and sulpho groups has a high selectivity for the selective absorption of various intermediate metal ions.
