THE SYNTHESIS OF DERIVATIVES OF 4,4'-SPIROBI[HEXAHIDROPYRIMIDINE]-2,2'- DIONES
It has been established that three-componential condensation of some aromatic aldehydes, acetone and ureas in the presence of catalyst H2SO4 leads to the formation of 4,4'-spirobi[hexahidropyrimidine]-2,2'-diones and their maximum yield is provided at the ratio of the pointed reagents equal to 2:3:2:1. The structure of the synthesized compounds has been proved by NMR, IR-spectroscopy and X-ray method
