PRECONCENTRATION OF BISMUTH (III) WITH CHELATING SORBENTS CONTAINING FRAGMENTS TIOACETAMID
As a result of modification of a copolymer of maleic anhydride with styrene chelating sorbents containing tioacetamide fragments have been synthesized. Bismuth sorption conditions by these sorbent have been investigated. It has been shown that maximum sorption ability towards bismuth are observed at pH 5. Effect of various acids (HClО4, H2SО4, HNО3, HCl) on bismuth desorption from sorbent has been investigated. The experiment showed that the maximum desorption of bismuth (III) takes place in hydrochloric acid.
