LIQUID-PHASE OXIDATION OF CUMENE BY MOLECULAR OXYGEN IN THE PRESENCE OF N-(p-ACETAMIDPHENYL)IMIDE DICHLOROMALEIC ACID
Oxidation reaction of cumene with molecular oxygen at 1000С in the presence of N-(p-acetamidphenyl) imide dichloromaleic acid synthesized has been investigated in vitro by the method developed by us. It is found that imide indicated is an active oxidation catalyst, leading to 70% conversion of hydrocarbon and intensive disintegration of hydroperoxide to form phenol, аcetophenone, 2-phenyl-2 propanol, 4-methyl-benzoic acid and tert-butybenzene. N-(p-acetamidphenyl)mide dichloromaleic acid can be recommended as an active catalyst of synthesis of secondary products of aerobic oxidation alkylbenzenes.
