Ionic associates of manganese(II) with 2,6-dithiol-4-methylphenol and aminophenols (АР) have been studied by spectrophotometry. Extraction of ionic associates is maximal at pH 5.6–7.3. The optimal conditions for the formation and extraction of ionic associates have been found and the ratios of components in the complexes have been determined. The maximum absorption of ionic associates Mn(ΙΙ)–DTMP–AР observed at λ = 462–470 nm. The molar absorption coefficient was (3.37–3.54)·104 l·mol-1cm-1. The Beer’s law was applicable in the range of 0.04–4 mg/ml. Studied the influence of foreign ions and masking substances on the complexation. A procedure has been developed for extraction-spectrophotometric determination manganese in various objects.
