EXTRACTION–PHOTOMETRIC DETERMINATION OF MOLYBDENUM
A.Z.Zalov, A.B.Hajieva, G.S.Suleymanova

The interaction of molybdenum with 2-hydroxyhalogenthiophenol (HHTPh) and the hydrophobic amines (Am). The optimum value of pH solution is 3.5–6.0. The maximum of light absorption of the complexes in chloroform is in the range of  519–535 nm. The single time extraction is 98.1–98.6%, the molar extinction coefficient is (3.1–4.3)∙104. The formation of a mixed-ligand complex of the composition
Мо(V):HHTPh:Аm=1:2:2 was detected. Beer`s law is obeyed within 0.2–24 mkg concentration of molybdenum in 1 ml of the extract.
