THE SYNTHESIS, CONVERSIONS AND STUDY OF ANTIMICROBIAL FEATURES OF PRODUCTS OF CONVERSION OF 1-(m-TOLILOXY)-2-OCTANOL
By interaction of 1-bromo-2-octanol and m-crezol in alkaline condition 1-(m-tholiloksy)-2-octanol was synthesized, as a result of condensation of the latter with a-chloro-methyl propyl ester, asetyl chloride, aromatic izocyanate and izothiocyanate, simple and complex ethers, carbamates and thiocarbamates were synthesized. The physico-chemical and antimicrobial properties of the synthesized compounds were investigated
Keywords : 1-bromo-2-octanol, m-crezol, a-chloro-methyl propyl ester, acetylchloride, aromatic isocyanate, carbamat, thiocarbamat
