The regularities and products of reaction of oligo-1,3-dihydroxyphenylene (1,3-ODHP) with epichlorohydrin (ECH) have been investigated. The kinetic and activation parameters of interaction of hydroxyl groups of 1,3-ODHP with oxirane ring of ECH have been determined. The thermo-stable propylchlorohydrin esters of 1,3-ODHP possessing capacity to form the high-qualitative coatings on metals and glass with sufficiently good physical-mechanical indices have been prepared.
