SELECTION OF ACTIVE MODIFIED ZEOLITE CATALYST AND KINETIC OF THE REACTION OF OXIDATION OF ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL TO ACETONE
The partial oxidation of isopropanol to acetone on zeolites of A type, natural clinoptilolite and mordenite modified with Cu2 + and Pd2 + ions at different temperatures, volumetric rate of feeding the reaction mixture and molar ratios of the reactants and inert diluent has been investigated. It have been found that the natural mordenite with optimum content of indicated ions shows the highest activity in this reaction. On the basis of literature data and kinetic experimental studies have been suggested the stage scheme of the mechanism of the reaction and its theoretically grounded kinetic model has been developed.
