By complex of methods of the physico-chemical analysis the chemical interaction in the ternary system Ce–Sb–Te on polythermic sections Sb₂Te₃–CeSb, CeTe–Sb, Sb₂Te₃–Ce, CeSb–CeTe and Sb₂Te₃–Ce₃Te₄ has been studied. Phase diagrams of sections and the liquidus surface projection of given ternary system are constructed and also new ternary phases of compositions of CeSbTe₃ and Ce₄Sb₂Te₇ are found out.
