The process of demercaptanization of mercaptan containing 0.5–1 g/l virgin stock (gasolines) by Fe–Mn(Co)/cli­nop­tilolite-catalytic systems has been investigated. Catalytic treatment of the residual 0.03–0.014 g/l mercaptan of straight-run gasolines has been performed. As well the basic factors influencing on the demercaptanization process has been studied
