ASSOCIATES OF 1-(2-TIENYL)-4-TRIFLUOR-2-(2-HYDROXY-3,5-DISULFOPHENYL-AZO)BUTANE-1,3-DIONE WITH CATIONIC SURFACTANTS AND THEIR ANALYTICAL APPLICATION FOR DETERMINING COPPER(II)
The interaction of disulfo-groupping – containing azoderivatives 1-(2-tienyl)-4-trifluor-2-(2-hydroxy-3,5-disulfophenylazo)butane-1,3-dione (Н2L) with surfactants (CSF), cetylpyridinium chloride (CPCl), cetylpyridinium bromide (CPBr) or cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTABr) in the aqueous medium has been studied. The dependences between stability constant of associates of formed ionic pairs (CSF) and sulfo-groupings H2L and stability constants of their complexes with Cu(II) have been established. The technique of photometric determination of copper(II) in sewage and seawater has been developed
