ELECTROCHEMICALLY INITIATED POLYMERIZATION OF SOME 2-ALKOXYMETHYL-1-(p-VINYLPHENYL)CYCLOPROPANES
The electrochemical polymerization of 2-alkoxymethyl-1-(p-vinylphenyl)cyclopropanes on graphite electrodes in aqueous solution of sodium chloride at current density of 0.02–0.2 A/cm2 at 200C has been carried out. The principal possibility of obtaining polymer in the studied conditions has been shown. The influence of current density, quantity of electricity and polymerization duration on the yield of polymer has been studied
