INVESTIGATION OF OLIGOMERIZARION PRODUCTS OF PHENOL AND its derivatives With PROPYLENE OXIDE AS ANTIMICROBE ADDITIVES TO MOTOR OILS
Oligomerization reaction of phenol and its some derivatives with propylene oxide in presence of nitrogen-containing compound – benzoguanamine have been investigated. Conversion of propylene оxide, yield of obtained oliqomers and some of their physico-chemical properties of final products have been determined. Assumed structures of oligomers have been described. Antimicrobe properties of synthesized oligomer products have been determined in industrial oil I-40 and compared with chosen example – 8-oxichinoline. The good anti-microbe and fungicide effect of nitrogen-containing oligomers has been brought to light
