THERMODYNAMIC FUNCTIONS OF THE REDUCTION REACTIONS OF TITANOMAGNETITE CONCENTRATE OF ADZHINAUR SANDSTONES BY NATURAL GAS
The temperature dependences of Gibbs free energy have been calculated for reduction reactions of pellets fluxed with Na2CO3 of titanomagnetite concentrate of Adzhinaur sandstones by natural gas, to determine the optimal temperature range for producing the iron powder through magnetite and wustite Fe3O4 + CH4 = 3FeO + CO + 2H2 , FeO + CH4 = Fe + CO + 2H2 , Fe3O4 + CH4 = 3Fe + CO2 + 2H2O . It was revealed that the equilibria of the final total reaction shifts to the right side, starting with the 1010 K ( DGT0 <0<0).
