PHASE DIAGRAM OF THE CaIn2–CaTe SYSTEM
The character of chemical interaction in the CaIn2–CaTe system has been studied using the methods of differential thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction, micro structural analysis, and density measurements, and its state diagram has been constructed. It has been established that the latter is a quasi-binary section of the ternary system Ca–In–Te. Compounds CaIn2 and CaTe form eutectic containing 15 mol. % CaTe, which melts at 7600C. At room temperature, solubility, based on CaIn2 reaches up to 2 mol.% CaTe, and on the basis of CaTe ~3 mol. % CaIn2
