CONDENSATION REACTION OF DI-(β-CHLOR)ISOPROPYL ETHER WITH DIETHYLENETRIAMINE
The condensation reaction of di-(β-chlor)isopropyl ether (DBIE) with diethylenetriamine (DETA) at various temperatures (50–800C) and molar ratios of components (1:1–2) has been studied. The optimum conditions: at ratio of DBIE:DETA – 1:2 have been found and at temperature 800C for 6.5 h polyamine with yield 92 % has been prepared. The prepared polyamine can be used as curer for epoxide resins.
