EFFECT OF THE EARTH METALS OXIDES AND INORGANIC ACIDS ON THE CATALYTIC PROPERTIES OF ALUMINUM OXIDE IN THE OXIDATIVE DEHYDROGENATION OF ETHYLBENZENE
The promoting effect of magnesium oxide on the aluminum oxide activity in the oxidative dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene is observed after initial aluminum hydroxide drying at 120–1500C. This effect considerably weakens after the aluminum hydroxide heat treatment at 5500C what may apparently be bound up with the influence of heat treatment on the value of specific surface area, the hydroxyl cover condition and other properties of aluminum oxide
