INHIBITORS USED AGAINST CORROSION OILFIELD EQUIPMENT

A study was conducted on application of inhibitors that are used for prevention of oil production equipment from corrosion, under different conditions, it was found that hydrogen sulphide is the most harmful substance. Thus, hydrogen sulphide contained in oil and underground water intensifies corrosion of equipment used in oil production. To prevent this, care should be taken when selecting inhibitors
