The mechanism of antioxsidative effect of oxsidation inhibitors of amino methye derivatives of 2-methylthio-4-tret-butylphenol on oxidation of cumene has been studied. Inhibiting proporties of the pointed compounds were studied by investigation of kinetics of their reactions with cumene peroxide radicals and cumene. It is shown that examined compounds hamper initiation of oxidation of cumene and that conversions of these compounds in the reactions with cumene peroxide radicals also possess are inhibiting effect, i.e. has a secondary inhibition. Inhibiting efficiency of a number compounds has been wealed depending on their structure and composition.

Keywords : inhibitors of oxidation, decomposing hydroperoxides, peroxide of cumene, phenol sulfides, their aminomethyl derivatives
