THE EFFECT OF VIII B GROUP ELEMENTS ON THE REDUCTION OF RHENIUM OXIDE IN THE M (VIII B) ReOx/Al2O3 SYSTEM AND THE ACTIVATION OF METHANE
The interaction of H2, CO and CH4 with M (M=Co, Ni, Pt)/ReOx/Al2O3 prepared by adsorption (a) and impregnation (i) methods has been investigated. It is shown that the reactivity of oxygen depends on M deposition method. Oxygen contained in sample (a) is established as opposite to (i), has reactionary unhomogeneity. The role of oxygen in the activation of methane is discussed
Keywords : methane, activation, catalysts, rhenium oxide, bonded oxygen
